A Millennium-Era Feature Pool

Jurong East Swimming Complex opened in March 2000 as one of the millennium-era feature pools built with wave pools, lazy rivers and water slides. It was the first of three public pools to open in the Jurong district, and remains the most popular with families thanks to its water attractions.

The water slides were removed during the 2025 to 2026 renovation, but the wave pool and lazy river remain crowd favourites. The 50-metre competition pool is closed until 31 December 2026, but all leisure pools are operating normally.

Jurong East is one of three public pools in the district. Jurong West Swimming Complex (jurongwestswimming.com) has Singapore's first sheltered Olympic pool, and Jurong Lake Gardens Pool (jurongswimming.com) is a newer lakeside facility opened in 2019.

Wave Pool

One of the few public wave pools in Singapore. Waves run at regular intervals throughout the day. Popular with families and children.

Lazy River & Stream Course

Float along the lazy river or wade through the stream course. A relaxing way to spend an afternoon without doing laps.

Kiddy Pool & Splash Pad

Shallow water play area with splash pad for young children. Separate from the wave pool so smaller kids can play safely.

Nearest CAMS centre

Assessments are held at Bukit Batok Swimming Complex.

Jurong East Swimming Complex is not a CAMS assessment centre. SwimSafer classes run here, but the formal in-pool test for certification takes place at your nearest centralised centre.

Assessment days at Bukit Batok Swimming Complex: Mondays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays.

There are five CAMS centres in Singapore. Your coach will usually book your child into the closest one. Families can also reschedule through the CAMS Platform if the default session doesn't suit.
