Tampines on the Rooftop
Our Tampines Hub is a $500-million, 5.3-hectare, seven-storey integrated community hub that replaced five ageing facilities in the area. Designed by DP Architects after gathering feedback from 15,000 residents, it was officially opened on 6 August 2017 by Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong.
The Tampines Swimming Complex sits on Level 6 - making it Singapore's largest rooftop swimming complex. The pool opened to the public on 19 July 2017. It features a sheltered 50-metre competition pool with a movable boom, an outdoor 50-metre training pool with panoramic views, a teaching pool, a wading pool, an interactive kiddie pool with water features, and a jacuzzi.
The original Tampines Swimming Complex at Tampines Street 82 served residents for decades before it was demolished to make way for Our Tampines Hub. The new complex brought all six pools under (and above) one roof, alongside a stadium, sports hall, library, hawker centre, community club and more than 30 retail and F&B outlets.

Interactive Kiddie Pool & Jacuzzi

Tampines Swimming Complex is not a CAMS assessment centre. SwimSafer classes run here, but the formal in-pool test for certification takes place at your nearest centralised centre.

There are five CAMS centres in Singapore. Your coach will usually book your child into the closest one. Families can also reschedule through the CAMS Platform if the default session doesn't suit.

What's taught at Tampines Swimming Complex.
Singapore Swimming Academy runs SwimSafer classes at the teaching pool. Group and private lessons are available for children and adults. Coaches are SportSG SwimSafer accredited and preparation covers:
- Stages 1 to 3: foundation water skills through to 50 metres continuous swimming.
- Bronze (Stage 4): stroke improvement, rescue skills, 100m continuous.
- Silver (Stage 5): diving, H.E.L.P. position, advanced rescue.
- Gold (Stage 6): 400m over six strokes, self-made float rescue.
