Serving Yishun Since 1988

Yishun Swimming Complex opened on 30 March 1988 as part of the Yishun Sport Centre, built during the HDB new-town era when Yishun was one of Singapore's fastest-growing estates. It was designed to serve residents across Yishun, Khatib and the surrounding north.

The complex sits within Yishun Sport Centre, which also includes a stadium, indoor sports hall and fitness gym. The 50-metre competition pool seats 430 spectators and has hosted community swim meets and school championships over the decades. A teaching pool and a wading pool with water slides round out the facilities, making it a popular weekend spot for families.

A second public pool is coming to the Yishun area: the Chong Pang Swimming Complex, part of the Chill @ Chong Pang integrated development at 21 Yishun Ring Road, is expected to open in 2027. It will feature an indoor Olympic pool, two leisure pools, and a gym. Until then, Yishun Swimming Complex remains the primary pool for the neighbourhood.

What's at Yishun
